How do I get started with BillJunction?
To start using the BillJunction online bill payment services, you begin by:

1. Filling our Online Application Form

2. We will then send you a Welcome Kit containing
   •  A Welcome letter
   •  Prefilled Application Form
   • Prefilled Bank Mandate Form

3.You need to sign these forms, attach a cancelled cheque along with these form and send them back to us.

You just need to call us at 96280-96288 and we will pick these forms from yourn doorstep.

Alternatively, you can send these forms by mailing at -

4. We will send the Bank Mandate Form signed by you to your bank for signature verification. After mandate verification and collection of charges (for the bill payment package selected by you) we will activate your BillJunction account.
Billjunction will send you an email once your account has been activated.

5.You then create your personal list of service providers relevant to you, to start receiving and paying your bills through BillJunction.



Do I have to open a bank account with any specific Bank to use this service?
No, you don't have to open a new bank account with ICICI Bank or any specific bank to avail of this service. The BillJunction service works with bank accounts in any bank branch in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai & Chandigarh that has an MICR code (the 9-digit number printed at the bottom of the cheque issued by your bank).


How do I pay the service charges? Do I need to send any money along with my application?
Please do not send any money (Cash/Cheque/DD) with your application. The transaction processing charges will be directly debited from your mandated bank account through the electronic clearing service on activation of your account with BillJunction .


How long will take to process the application and activate my BillJunction account ?
It would take about 3 weeks to process and activate your Billjunction account after we have received the signed forms from you.


Can I change my bill payment package anytime?
No. However, you can select a bill payment package of your choice at the time of account renewal. Your account is renewed when the stipulated number of bills you can pay are exhausted or after the expiry of its validity period, whichever is earlier.


How is my Login Name and Password assigned?
BillJunction allows you to create your own Login Name and Password during the online registration process. In case your Login Name has already been assigned to someone else you would be asked for an alternate Login Name. Please remember the password you fill in, because it is known only by you, and is never sent through email. You can also change your password any time using the Change Password option.
However, If you have registered through the Billjunction executive, the system will generate a
Login name & Password for you.This will be sent through a secured stationery ( PIN Mailer).


Do I have to change banks in order to avail the service?
No, the BillJunction service works with any bank account, provided your bank branch has an MICR code (the 9-digit number printed at the bottom of the cheque issued by your bank).


Can I pay from multiple bank accounts in BillJunction ?
Yes, you can pay bills from multiple bank accounts. However, you will have to send us a Bank Mandate Form, and a cancelled cheque of that bank for each of the accounts you wish to use.


How would my service providers know I am using BillJunction to pay my bills?
After you register with BillJunction, you would need to create a list of service providers whom you wish to receive online bills from. You can add the service providers using the Add Billers/ Payees option. Once you add a service provider, your unique Consumer Reference Number is communicated to the service provider for authentication.


What is a Consumer Reference Number?
Consumer Reference Number is the unique identification number assigned to you by each Biller/Payee.


Which bills can I pay?
You can pay most of your recurring bills through us. At present the service is available only in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai & Pune.

Can I pay someone else's bill?
Yes, you can pay someone else's bill through BillJunction. For example you can pay your wife's telephone bill. To be able to do so, you will have to add the relevant service provider to your personal list. However, please note that the same bill cannot be paid by two people, i.e. if you have added your wife's telephone to your personal list, then she will not be able to add the same in her personal list at BillJunction.

How long does it take before I start receiving my bills through BillJunction?
Once you add the Billers to your personal list, you will receive your subsequent bills from them online. Billers are service providers who provide details of your bill online, unlike Payees who only accept payments and do not present bills online.

How can I submit the Application Form & Bank Mandate Form(s)?
You can submit the forms in two ways:

How does BillJunction get my bill information?
After you register with BillJunction, you need to create your personal Billers/Payees list selecting from the list of service providers registered with us. Once you select a Biller your Consumer Reference Number would be communicated to the biller for authentication. On successful verification of the Consumer Reference Number, which takes 3 to 4 days, Billers would commence sending an electronic copy of your subsequent bills to us, which would be displayed at your personal Bill Inbox.
Billers are service providers who provide details of your bill online, unlike Payees who only accept payments through us and do not present bills online.

Do I have to use BillJunction to pay all my bills?
No, you select which bills you want to pay through BillJunction. BillJunction makes bill payment so convenient and hassle-free, you would prefer to pay most of your bills through BillJunction. However, you can choose to pay bills through the traditional mode, even if the Billers/Payees have been subscribed through BillJunction.
